ABOUT EMMALINE

Emmaline Parker, a Kentucky native, is a passionate dancer and writer who thrives on using movement as a means of fostering human connection. She enjoys many forms of art, but is especially drawn to the power of movement and the written word. Through her choreography and writing, Emmaline seeks to inspire others to connect with our Creator in every aspect of life. She believes that genuine connection with one another and with God is cultivated through shared creativity and intentional expression. 

Emmaline is a current Anderson University dance pedagogy and writing double major in her final year of study. Through her collegiate endeavors, she has received training in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, improvisation, composition, and musical theatre. She has also had the opportunity to take masterclasses from various professional dancers, including Randall Flinn (Ad Deum Dance), Stuart Lewis (Dance Kaleidoscope), Nicole Clarke-Springer (Deeply Rooted Dance Theater), and Julie-Anne Stanzak (Tanztheater Wuppertal). 

Outside of the dance studio, Emmaline continues to develop her understanding of growth and connection. She is committed to cultivating creativity, and aims to ignite a fresh desire in all communities to express artistry and pursue excellence. She believes that profound artistry and human connection stems from being a lifelong student in the world.
